The stunning foliage makes the dieffenbachia a popular houseplant, but make sure to keep children and pets away. Its sap can cause irritation/numbness of the skin, mouth, and eyes. If ingested, the sap can numb your mouth and lead to a temporary inability to speak - causing this plant to have the nickname "dumb cane."
Note: Sizes are indicative of pot size, not plant size. For example: 4" pot means that the plant will come in a 4" tall by 4" wide plastic nursery pot.
