Soon after Mimi and Allen married in 1993, they discovered their work partnership was valuable and enjoyable and decided to make a life of it. She joined the Martinson family business, bringing with her a vision, an eye for detail and an energetic diligence that has been transformative to the business. Anyone who has visited Martinson's Garden Works over the years has seen the magical, inspirational displays she builds throughout Garden Works to inspire customers and demonstrate creative ways to use their beautiful plants, pottery and other products.

 

Container gardening is Mimi’s specialty. She works with clients selecting pottery for their porches and patios, and pairs pots with specific, interesting plant combinations to create custom designs for each individual space.

 

Mimi is the marketing director, pottery buyer, container garden specialist, and all around best "boss lady" ever. Besides managing her office duties, she has raised their two children, Mia and Max, and still manages to be present and available to help customers regularly.
